April 5th, 2014: It's been almost a full year since this website has been updated, but exciting things have been taking place regardless! Last fall, Mandy was a part of some exciting film and television projects in Atlanta! She worked as an extra on shows such as The CW's 'The Originals,' Tyler Perry's 'The Have and Have Nots,' and feature films such as 'Barely Lethal', and 'Dumb and Dumber To'! Now, she might have been an extra, but the experience that she gained was priceless! She also was a part of First United Methodist Church of Eaton Rapids' Lenten Cantata show, 'I Am The Lord of the Dance,' this March! Find out what Mandy's up to day to day on her TWITTER and VINE!
April 15th, 2013: One night only! 'All New People' went over so well the first time that we're doing it for one night only! The College of Arts and Letters is hosting a arts marathon, and 'All New People' is the last stop! B301 Wells at 11pm - and did we mention it's completely FREE?
March 10th, 2013: 5 days away! 'All New People' opens Friday, March 15th at 8pm and 11pm, and Saturday, March 16th at 8pm and 11pm. The Facebook Event page can be found HERE. The show is donation-based!
March 1st, 2013: Mandy is so happy to be back in the sunny city of Los Angeles for the upcoming week for her senior showcase through Michigan State! She will be meeting casting directors and agents including Angela Demo, Orion Barnes, and Sara Issacson. She will be attending acting workshops through Actors Connection and attending networking events in order to advance her career in her future home. It'll definitely be bittersweet going back to Michigan State to finish up her degree when you can wear shorts in March in California!
February 20th, 2013: Mandy is neck-deep in rehearsals for her next show! Mandy will be appearing in 'All New People' by Zach Braff, in a collaboration between Media Sandbox and the MSU Department of Theatre. 'All New People' opens Friday, March 15th at 8pm and 11pm, and Saturday, March 16th at 8pm and 11pm. The Facebook Event page can be found HERE. The show is donation-based.
January 20th, 2013: Mandy will be appearing at Connxtions comedy club for a SPAM stand up comedy show! The show will be taking place on Wednesday, February 20th, 2013 @ 8 pm. Tickets can be bought through Mandy or others performing in the show, as of now, the event is not on Connxtions website.
January 15th, 2013: Mandy will be seen in the world premiere of U.P. at Michigan State University February 5-10th as Sheila! "U.P. tells the story of a man disillusioned by his life in Los Angeles. He sets out on a road trip searching for answers and ultimately finds himself in one of America’s only remaining “Outbacks,” the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This production will be a multi-media production blending theatre and film." Tickets can be bought HERE.
December 20th, 2012: 'You Are Very Bad,' a new completely devised show, will be going up February 1st and 2nd in the Arena Theatre at Michigan State University. Mandy has been working on and will be appearing in the show. The show covers many aspects of inequality in America, including such topics as racial inequality, gender bias, and sexual inequality. Tickets are five dollars and can be bought at the door.
November 8th, 2012: Mandy will be performing alongside her classmates at Connextions Comedy Club in December as part of a fundraiser for the Michigan State University Department of Theatre! Check back for more details on that soon!
October 1st, 2012: Mandy recently was a part of Michigan State University's productions of 'Three Sisters' by Anton Chekov and 'Anton in Show Business' by Jane Martin produced in rep. She had the pleasure of assistant directing 'Anton in Show Business. The shows were welcomed with a positive response throughout the community.
